After Placement, How Soon Do You See Results?
Each client is different and is at a different place on the Spectrum. Our placements, and how we approach Boot Camp also varies depending on the child and the adult handler. Typically we start seeing small results within the first couple days of placement, and it continues to build over time. Full bonding & working takes 6 to 8 months.

What Is Boot Camp?
Boot Camp is a 2 to 3 week process that is a 1-on-1 training session in your home with the adult handler & autistic child with one of our experienced trainers. During this time we will be able to find the right personality of service dog that fits your child's needs and fits in your family's life style.
If you live outside the State of Arizona,
one of our trainers will travel to you
,
instead of requiring you & your
child to travel to us.
(Travel & Hotel costs are in addition
to Service Dog Fee & Taxes)

We Teach the Team How To:
  • Work with the service dog.
  • Gain experience working in public
  • Incorporation with existing therapy practices.

You Mentioned Having An Adult Handler, What Does That Mean?
To safely serve each child's abilities on the autism spectrum, we require that there is always a trained adult handler (typically one parent) that is responsible and handles their child's service dog. This requirement is for the safety of your child and the service dog.

What Is The Process To Get a Service Dog?
Since each child with autism is at their own spot on the spectrum, there is a multi-stage application process. Not all applicants are viable candidates to get a service dog.

To see if we can help you, fill out & send in the forms linked below to receive an application packet.

  • Service Dog for Autism Application

  • Autism Questionnaire

  • Photo & Video Release Form

  • Example of Required Prescription/Medical Letter

  • Personality Survey.

  • At Least one of the Social Impression Survey's will be on your child/individual and one on your family. More of these we recieve from family, friends, and coworkers the better personality and lifestyle match we can make.

After receiving the application & supporting documents (refer to web page above), we will review to see if your child qualifies for our program. If they do, we will begin the process by scheduling a home interview, review of funding & contract requirements, and starting the Matching / Boot Camp process.
